The Earth formed 4.5 billion years ago.

The first living single-celled microorganisms appeared on our planet in conditions in which we would not want to live. Although it is still not known exactly how it is formed, it is thought to be a biological reaction as a result of lightning contact with water as a result of a number of complicated natural events.

The evolution of aerobic photosynthesis about 3.5 billion years ago eventually led to the oxygenation of the atmosphere, starting about 2.4 billion years ago.

Today, we are sure that life began in water. Even more interestingly, with this adventure that began in water, sexuality was discovered by living organisms. It’s as if the first code written into genes was survival.

And thus the first ancestor of all living things was born. Yes, none of us are descended from apes. For now.

But life on our planet was still…
